I am a very type-A person and had a very clear vision for the wedding, but my father-in-law sadly passed two weeks before my husband and I married. Without any explanation or formal hand-off call, Kate picked up the wedding planning and coordinated with all our vendors. I truly cannot recommend Kate enough, she always made me feel like the priority throughout the entire planning process and was so communicative. She is an absolutely joy and put all the right finishing touches to our wedding day. My husband and I will always look back on our wedding day and think fondly of her for everything she did for us.”
A loved filled day, at a difficult time
The lead up to this lovely destination wedding was sadly marred by the loss of the groom’s father, but with so many guests travelling to Ireland from the US, and Conor’s father’s wish that it would go ahead, the show went on. I felt so terrible for this lovely couple, but dove right in to ensure plans carried on, without having to lean on Olivia. I understood what her priorities were and working alongside her lovely mother, was well placed to give them the beautiful day they deserved.
Being able to care for people in this way, at a time when life could break them, is the real reason why I do my job. Yes, I go all in for the joy and frivolity, but it’s the personal connections forged and, being able to hold someone’s hand through hardship, that sticks.

Ireland was a destination wedding for us; we knew no one nor had any previous experiences with any of the vendors or professionals. Throughout the process Kate had a professional and kind demeanor paying attention to every detail, big and small. She responded to every question with solutions. Kate put such consistent work and care that my daughter and I felt as though this wedding was Kate’s one and only event. On the day of the wedding Kate and her team took care of absolutely everything, so much so that I did not have to worry about a single thing. Love and Gatherings exceeded our expectations.”
