Founded by Ireland’s leading authority on contemporary wedding design, Kate O’Dowd, love and gatherings plans, designs and manages cutting edge events and experiences, for the most style-savvy Irish and international couples, at the very best venues throughout the country.
Our team is made up of Kate O’Dowd and her right hand woman Eve Roe, who man the office full time and lead our wonderful crew of Ireland’s most experienced event managers & stylists, on site at your wedding.
MEET KATE
Kate O’Dowd has been working within the events industry, for over fifteen years; first as editor of IMAGE Publications’ award-winning wedding magazine BASH, then as the creator of luxury events for private clients and leading international brands. For the past decade, having found the love of her working life, Kate is solely and completely a wedding planner, channeling all her energy into creating, for her couples, a relaxed, beautiful and joyful planning experience, which culminates in a gathering that’s the pivotal moment in their lives. How great is that. Kate lives in Dublin City with her husband Brian, their handsome boys, Teddy and Albert, and princess Nora. She’s that rare combination of a creative who gets high on spreadsheets.
LOVE and BEGINNINGS
Following its launch in 2016, love and gatherings quickly gained a reputation as Ireland’s leading producer of intimate brand events, building a highly covetable client list made up of international household names. Many of these became repeat clients, contracting us to conceive, produce and style press launches, brand activations, workshops and showroom evenings, intimate client dinners and large corporate bashes, often with Kate as the host, speaker and social media partner.
