A Beautifully Romantic Video of our Ballynahinch Wedding

If there’s one thing we love more than shedding silent tears of joy, hiding at the back of a client’s ceremony, it’s really letting it all out, over the wedding video, a few weeks later.

This one, for our beloved James and Bryan, by the legends over at Cinematic Tide, had us at Hello. Those sweeping shots; that music; the moments they captured without their cameras ever being noticed.

A wedding video is one of those things which I always feel is only worth doing, if it’s done really well. No-one wants to watch, let alone share, a cheesy (and usually inaccurately so) rendering of a day that was beautiful and real. I suggest booking your videographer as early as you can - while conversely taking your time to find one that really captures your vibe (no big deal) - and spending as much as your budget will allow, on it. I’m not suggesting overstretching yourself, by any means, but trying to save a hundred quid by going with the option that’s not quite your favourite, will not pay off. A great wedding video is an art form and will be something that will warm you up on cold evenings, well into your old age - not to mention being a failsafe method for thawing hearts after a particularly icy exchange over the division of household labour, as the marriage years reel in.
