What do we love most about gatherings at Ballynahinch?
The event spaces are cosy and authentic, but they’re curated by super chic designers BOS Studio, so the overarching sense is of luxury and style - it’s a really clever balance.
The estate offers a genuine sense of seclusion, wrapped in mountains and woodland, close to the sea, while still being within comfortable reach of Galway and the wider West of Ireland.
The food leans into the region’s soul — slow‑cooked, fire‑lit, and rooted in local produce — the seafood is, unsurprisingly, a special treat.
The Walled Garden is one of the most magical we’ve been in & seems to boast its own sunny microclimate - and the Fisherman’s pub is the most uniquely Irish setting for post-dinner dancing.
The onsite team works with quiet professionalism and genuine care - it’s always clear to us when a venue team is happy & really love their hotel; the staff here are truly gorgeous.
